I guess what's happening here is the same that happened to a lot of industries in the past: A hype attracted a lot of people looking for a quick buck that flooded the market and ruined prices and reputation of the profession along the way. While this might be hurtful on first sight, I'm pretty sure that: - The need for actual business agility and collaboration to solve complex problems is rather increasing than decreasing - Quality will always prevail in the long term. No matter the market. No matter the product. - If you call yourself agile and actually practice what you preach, you'll be able to survive and thrive in a situation like this

Ability to swiftly adapt to the changing market needs is the ultimate competitive advantage for any professional. Regular changes in the market offer new and untapped opportunities. Most professionals may get multiple opportunities to completely transform their game and get ahead in their career. Those who have been working on building capability, continuously learning, up-skilling and having mentors usually stand a chance to benefit from such opportunities and get life changing results.

A very simple example of embracing change now-a-days is embracing "AI". Many fear that AI is here to take away our jobs. Here is the fact.... "AI will never take away your job, but someone using AI will!" BRACE BRACE BRACE!!!

I cannot stress on this point more! Learning is the only thing that must never stop in one's life. It's not just new trends, but also various methods and tools that can level-up the agile ways of working. Hundreds and thousands of innovation is happening all around us and if we are unable to relate to them, we lost it. My take on this is to keep connected, stay informed and keep growing!

One thing I've found helpful is implementing Agile in my day to day life alongside work. The goals defined are personalised to my needs & benefits and tasks I have to accomplish gets them closer to my goals. Be it continuous learning, adapting to new technologies and expanding my knowledge not only in the current industry but, to sustain in any industry. "Do it" rather than "say it".

Its a way of "Life" and can be adapted everywhere. Having said that, keep embracing technology without prejudice and leverage your agile mindset to make the most of the technology.
