Gathering information in and around the area where the issue occurs is very necessary. A clear understanding of the issue is essential to fix the actual root cause.

If you encounter bug while coding, you do t need to panic because it is part of what makes one a better programmer. However, once you detect a bug, at a particular time just calm down and read the exception because you are not actually far from the source of the bug. It could just be an oversight on a character you just typed.
