One time at work, I was assigned to a project that involved network analysis using NetworkX, a Python library for creating, manipulating, and visualizing networks. I had never used NetworkX before, so I had to learn it from scratch at the University in the course of Social Network Analysis. I was excited and curious about this new challenge, as I wanted to explore the power and potential of network analysis for data science. In my experience, network analysis was a very useful and versatile tool for understanding complex systems and phenomena, such as social networks, biological networks, transportation networks, etc. Network analysis helped me discover patterns, identify influential nodes, measure centrality, detect communities, and more.
