Ekectrical utility protection systems and facilities are becoming overly relied upon to provide protection schemes that respond to conditions created by distributed generation schemes (Battery, peaking turbines, etc) which solely profit from their interconnection to the grid. An improvement on the requirement for these interconnectiis, I.E. making them responsible for providing a system adequate enough to clear fault contributions that otherwise would not occur in their absence is critical to an affordable path forward for the public
