I believe creating the right pathway and framework is dependent on the initial team and consultant. Gathering a group of experts with different perspectives creates the best framework for providing an opportunity to access creativity and knowledge from other sectors that give you a broader vision. Instead of "framework" I call this process the "roadmap". A series of roadmaps at every stage of your startup is a requirement for good guidance not only for you but for the team that follows and supports you. Such as "ideation" roadmap, "market-fit" roadmap, "product" roadmap, "beta testing" (some refer this to the fancy MVP term) roadmap, "feedback collection" roadmap, "agile reshaping" roadmap, "first phase launch" roadmap, and so on.

A business plan is essential. Not having one can significantly delay one's progress. Creating a business plan is a crucial step for any newly conceived business. However, it's not uncommon for many aspiring entrepreneurs to overlook the importance of documenting their business idea and operational strategy. Think of a business plan as the roadmap for your venture, outlining what your business is and how it will operate. Imagine embarking on a long journey without a map showing the route to your destination. While the plan may be clear in your mind, putting it on paper and sharing it with others helps them understand your goals and how you plan to achieve them. A well-structured business plan is a pre-requisite for any new business.

You need to laser-focus on the idea execution and leave the rest of the essential resources and tools to others. Seek support on legal and financial, marketing (branding) and sales, leadership skills (a good leader is the key for success) and gather the right team (goes hand-in-hand with good leadership), organizational and management skills and not to forget about proper time management. A business is like a Rubik's Cube, all pieces must fall in place for success. Some can manipulate this fast and some slow, that's the nature of startups and founder characters.

An idea maketh not startup. Great ideas may fail without due thought to sales, marketing, positioning, understanding buyers or finance. Average ideas and even old, tried-and-tested ones could work if the fundamental building blocks for making sales are in place.
