There is definitely a balance between aiming for challenging goals that will stretch the team so they grow and the goals are too challenging that they don't believe they can achieve them so they either get demoralised or give up. Clarity on what is expected can motivate, the team needs to be locked into achieving the goal and have the passion to make it happen. When you get that sweet spot, you will see the team bond and blossom
