Fear of deprecation was constant, as sudden API changes could break my application. I used workarounds like caching responses and retrying failed calls, but they were unreliable. This experience underscored the importance of versioned APIs, which offer stability and predictability. Now, I always opt for versioned APIs, providing a lifeline in the turbulent sea of development. In conclusion, using a versioned API, when possible, mitigates challenges associated with unversioned APIs.
