An example I have implemented was deploying a monitoring system. It was used in a thermo solar Power station. This system collected real-life data to compare it with the design methodology and assumptions. You can study any gaps between the design and the installed system.

From the POV of Consumer of Such Solar Systems (e.g. a Solar Farm commissioned at a Factory): The following aspects can be done to validate the performance: - Set the KPIs in accordance to the Plant's Estimated Savings (Rs/kWh Power Generated) and CO2 Reduction (in Tons) as well as from the OEM Perspective. -> This sets references the Solar Farm's Performance Tracking from the Plant (Consumer) and the OEM of Solar Farm Project. - Tracking of Actual Vs. Targeted Generation, Savings & CO2 Reduction - Based on Frequency (Day/Month) - Using Digital Dashboards and conditional Monitoring Portals to monitor the condition of the running Inverters. - Preventive & Corrective Actions by both the Consumer & OEM -> Due to Performance deviations.
