This statement totally agree with. If you give the cad tech the tools of learning you in the end help to teach them more effectively in my opinion. Watching over the shoulder doesn’t work anymore.

Mentors are a great idea, the hard part must labs are to busy to take in new people with zero experience. Even though this works it’s not effective in a production and busy environment.

I am conducting CAD lectures for various employees within the company. While participants show a good understanding of the concepts and become familiar with the functions during the lecture, there was an issue of not effectively applying the knowledge when they returned to their work. To address this, I started incorporating examples related to their own projects during the lecture. I introduced missions where they had to complete tasks within a limited time frame. The results were highly successful. Providing tasks proves to be the most effective learning method.

Learning is so much easier now with all the forms and open discussions you can get answer to questions or problems without waiting on support. Always presenting a learning culture and work with the teams is so important as if something goes wrong in design your case is finished so it’s very important to invest the time into your students and show them all of the tools to aid in learning will make them great.
