Second, after the deal is closed, there’s building rapport 2.0, a deeper more personal version where the client has given you their trust and their name is tied to your success in delivering the product. YOU MUST DELIVER! Last part is the good stuff. This is where you just call to check in with no agenda. "Hey, I just wanted call and say hello. How are you doing?" Nothing is better than making that call and getting an order because they like you, trust you, and enjoy doing business with you. This is a little thing we like to call a partnership - the ultimate goal for anyone in business.
Relationship is the magic. Try not to sell one time, but look for partnership, understanding, best negotiation possible, be aware of you client needs and offer new deals. So you will always have the door open to introduce new products and solutions. Sometimes the client will trust and look for you too.

As a sales ,you must know your 20/80 in order deploy your energy on those key prospects who are qualified to help you to achieve 80% of your targets.
