I find that using examples in the past and sharing stories is always useful. You can use this time to highlight what you learned from the feedback, and how you worked to improve reflecting on that. You can bring this up multiple times, to reinforce your growth mindset. Perfection and efficiency are not the same things. A perfectionist will draw and redraw the same thing until there are no flaws. An efficient person will present a rough drawing, observe others, ask for feedback, and consistently improve as they progress. Maybe they never reach ‘perfect’ but as long as the drawing still conveys the message it doesn’t much matter if it’s ‘perfect.’ Just think on all of the smear frames in looney tunes.

4 Ask for feedback

One of the best ways to show openness to feedback is to actually ask for it. This shows that you are proactive, confident, and eager to improve. It's very fascinating to me that various companies in the same industry use different jargon to describe the same processes, and sometimes their process varies from your own experience. If you have an open two way conversation the interviewer will help you understand how they see you and your experiences, and of course feedback is mutual. I remember in an interview the HR person asked me "what can we do better ?" My feedback to her was "what do you WANT to do better ? " That question can open up a new conversation but in my case it shut the conversation down completely . I found out what I needed to know about their openness to learn or listen to their employees .

5 Follow up on feedback

Finally, you should always follow up on the feedback you receive during the interview. This means that you should thank the interviewer again for their time and input, and let them know how you plan to use their feedback to improve your work. You should also show them the results of your feedback implementation, if possible.
