Be prepared to face scenario based questions in an interview. Unlike most interview questions you find on the internet an interview is not structured like a quiz. The recruiter would like to know how well you are able to apply your knowledge in real world projects. If the interview is about Power Bi be prepared for questions about Power Bi service, & not only PBi desktop. For SQL familiarize yourself with common databsaes like MS SQL Server etc or cloud based databases, knowing just the big 6 and basic JOINS is not enough sometimes you are expected to know advanced concepts like Temp Tables, CTE, Window Functions etc. The best way to prepare is by practicing instead of trying to mug up a lot of online platforms are available for practicing.

When I take interviews, I ask basic question around the tools like sql, power bi, excel or R/python to check if the candidates concept is clear or not. For example: Excel- vlookup, hlookup, commonly used formulas sumif, if else etc Sql: joins, cursors Power bi: type of dax and visual used R: about the libraries And also I ask what kind of projects they have worked on and try to deep dive on that

Even if you don't know what you'll be asked, having some examples practised and ready means you'll be well prepared to use them when needed. In this ever changing landscape although understanding the basics of most popular tools like SQL, Python and Tableau is a must but the candidate must be prepared to answer scenario based logical questions.
