When it comes to choosing the best framework for ML production it’s absolutely necessary to start by defining the problem that requires ML solutions because different problems require different frameworks , as well as understanding the data do you have enough data ? Or does it require augmentation? Once you understand the problem and data then it’s also critical to see whether you have compute capabilities to conduct your training because in certain situations the ML in production might require distributed training strategies to address the compute requirements, there are many libraries for ML such as tensorflow and PyTorch for deep learning choosing which one is the best is subject to model performance , data type and compute power

The high degree of customization that many frameworks offer is instrumental in helping us to build either simple models or more complex ones for instance in sequential models in both PyTorch and tensorflow you can stack as many layers as you want , but how many are layers are the best ? There’s no one size fits all here as it depends on your problem, it’s always advisable to start by building simple models evaluate their performance and then go back enhance them by adding more layers and assess their performance again in an iterative manner until you arrive at solution that satisfies your needs . By doing it this way you can easily trace the problems like overfitting and address them , also important is to reduce dimensionality of data
