In my opinion, the only way to achieve these goals is through the analysis of the production that comes from the wells. Production, when properly analyzed, can tell use the ability of the reservoir to produce fluids and the effectiveness of the competion design to deliver that production to the wellbore. Designing the completion so the minimum number of wells must be drilled, without sacrificing recover is the goal.
