I think there are two questions here - how do you help your team to learn? And then how do you help them to learn in a digital environment? In regards to helping your team to learn, grow, and develop it starts with communication. Ask them what ignites their passion. Ask them where they want to be professionally in 5 years. Ask them what kinds of projects/opportunities feel like growth opportunities. Listen and take note to all of this. Then you can begin to ask if digital learning is the best avenue to accomplish these goals. If the answer is yes then explore things like Udemy and LinkedIn Learning. Ask your broader network for recommendations. There is so much digital content out there and vetting these trainings are extremely important.

When it comes to supporting teams learn. First step giving them the time and space to learn. Then giving them the right tools to learn, having options to learning platforms is key. And setting goals and holding them accountable to learning is key. In terms of developing a digital environment you need to start with the business, what are they going, where are they investing in terms of new digital tools, what is the learning team doing to support in new knowledge transfer or behavior changes. Both of these opportunities require you as their leader - 'Leading by Example', Talk about books or courses you have read or taken, show them the new digital tools you have learnt about or testing out. Sets the tone.

The key is to remain receptive to feedback after each session, ensuring that the learning experience is continually refined and remains relevant to the team's dynamic needs. By fostering a culture of shared ownership over learning, teams not only build the skills, but also feel empowered and invested in their professional growth.
