What are the best ways to gain expertise in organizational design?

In my viewpoint, start with the following: 1) Organisation Vision: what’s is the long term vision of the organisation? 2) 3 S approach : This is Strategy, Structure and System 3) Keeping it simple ( everything) 4) Organising regular interventions to explain to teams and members of the organisation. Keep your communication channels a 2 way process to listen and understand and then communicate with the team

In my opinion, the below-highlighted points can serve the purpose 1. Enroll in specialized courses in organizational theory, human resources, and business management. 2. Gain hands-on experience in organizational roles. 3. Seek positions that offer exposure to different departments and management levels. 4. Find a mentor experienced in organizational design to gain insights and guidance. 5. Join professional networks and attend conferences to connect with experts and stay updated on industry trends. 6. Regularly read books and journals on organizational design, leadership, and management strategies. 7. Obtain relevant certifications from recognized institutions to validate your expertise.

There are companies that cannot achieve their goals if they are structured in a traditional way, such as in a hierarchical system, with well-defined positions and functions. They need to gain a different and even dynamic structure, which can adapt according to the demand of their customers. To be able to make the necessary changes, there is a new and very important concept.

This works.In my experience into startups for the past 5 years I have only learnt networking, liaisoning and creating an ecosystem plays a crucial and equally stronger potential as the quality and technology that you have.

In contrast, one that wants to promote a similar product to appeal to local tastes will likely need to organize by its regional offices.

Thought Organizational Design is different from Business Models. A good understanding of other Business Models helps. Working in Management Consulting firms and/or Venture Capital firms exposes us to different business models. This can be termed as a practical MBA.

Any organization is a living organism, and the key component is people. Therefore, you have to represent yourself as a doctor who understands how the body works, what the diseases are, and what medicine will be best (org design). For building efficient organizational designs, you have to use a wide range of knowledge from all your experience. Also, understand a company's strategy and vision, staff profile, strengths and weaknesses, and current management style. Understanding management style is more important because not everyone can manage a turquoise organization.

Well it is not an easy process, but i think that the most important is a combination of education, practical experience, and continuous skill development, also, surround yourself with people who add value to your actions and keep an open mind to new possibilities and adjustments to change.
