We send branded thank you cards. I have 2 formats, one more fun and one more formal. I think digital communication is much faster and easier, and getting something cool in the mail automatically generates a smile. Low cost high impact. I have heard that branded stock may ruin the authenticity of the communications. I can see that. It also demonstrates I did not pick it up as an after thought and work this way, potentially demonstrating the professionalism of our work method. Either choice is a reflection of your values and choices. As long as the communications depict you, it's all good.

A thank you note (email, WApp, Telegram or where the peer is usually on) is a basic necessity and helps to carry over goodwill generated in the meeting, into another avenue where conversations can continue. It is important to open another avenue for future communications especially if there is potential for a collaboration moving forward. As always, a sincere and authentic tone of voice in the message is best.
