Everyone must be catered to and that will also give you more returning visitors. In that light, engineers must keep learning and improving their skills to help everyone enjoy the Internet. Everyone deserves a fair share.

I have found that using a component library and framework that has already passed WCAG to be a time saver if possible. I once worked on an app that had a date picker component on 3 different screens and each one was coded differently. In most organizations, there are not enough accessibility specialists and QA engineers to keep up with this sort of inconsistency.
