In my opinion some of the common pitfalls apply to interviews in general - not just when discussing remote work experience: -Inability for the interviewer to determine what your specific contributions were in a project: You should narrate in the first person ("my task was to do X and I achieved Y") instead of using "we". -Explain motivation: Many candidates can explain well why they want to work for the company but fail to articulate why they are interested in the particular role. I've seen this happen particularly at big brands -Bad time management: When a 30min screen is booked, you can't spend 15min on your self presentation. You need to manage time well and be clear, concise and to the point so that all topics can be covered
