It also enables to to identify possible supporting functions, etc.,, that align with your technical writing requirements, etc. As a result, I always recommend having a hands on component when assessing a new product CRM, or otherwise. Tutorials may help you select the CRM, etc., that best meets your requirements. Though remember the tutorials have been produced to meet a specific requirement. So, on their own tutorials may not cover everything you require/ need to know. This hands on experience applies to all type so products, not just CRM's.

In the current job market a lot of companies are making reference to CRM's. As a result limiting your experience to just one CRM may hinder your job applications, etc. Being flexible and willing/ able to develop skills with new CRM's would therefore be beneficial.
