I’m not so sure about this question. Human beings, whether they are technical or not, need treating with professionalism, decency and a real interest in what their key drivers are. A top recruiter asks better questions than their peers. They are advisors, career guides. The best way to deal with any candidate is find out what they’re looking for, give them top advice and be totally honest.

Who thinks that candidates that have technical experience and work in industries or sectors that require more technical skills than people skills do not care about the company culture? Gone are the days where candidates only care about money or the job description. Majority of the workforce are now focused on if the company’s values, culture and vision are aligned with their own career path. Giving a candidate information about the company will help them decide if the role is for them or not and save the recruiter a lot of time.

I’d say employer branding and showcasing the culture is key here. As recruiters, we can only measure the competencies of the candidates.
