This is a work in progress. We are looking to do more of this. We have an employee appreciation day and are looking to have one for customers too. We buy Starbucks, expensive cookies or donuts occasionally for our employees. We post our good google reviews to the team. We respond to all our google reviews. We referred to the negative ones as feedback. The work environment is very laid back. You break whenever you want and log it. You create your schedule.

Feedback has to be daily. Negative feedbacks are referred to as learning opportunities or blind spots. Employees love Positive feedbacks. Picking a positive thing each day and reminding them about it and how they are an expert or a “boss” at this thing is important. Employees are rewarded and notified immediately of customer feedback. They choose their reward preference which is always money or gift card.

This particular area is very important. You have to save yourself first before you can save others. For me, self care is most important. Things like auto massage and spa where these places call person(s)to remind one to come in. Catching a quick lunch or dinner with love ones. Impromptu getaways are the best ways to reward oneself.
