Seek networking opportunities in unexpected places and it may lead you to unexpected outcomes.

Joining professional network such as HRCI, SHRM or ATD would enrich the knowledge of the Organizational Development professional in many aspects including PMS and how to improve it's process.

Diving into this adventure of helping startups level up their team game with KPIs and OKRs has been a real joy. I'm all about jumping into discussions, tossing out insights, and building cool connections with the startup crew. And, hey, when it comes to shooting a message to folks I look up to, I keep it real – a mix of curiosity and genuine appreciation.

Making others look good builds goodwill. 3. Share opportunities. When you hear about open positions or special assignments, pass them along. Connect friends with leaders in the field or recruiters headhunting for roles you believe they are fit for. Building their networks strengthens yours.

1. Find mentors/people who experts in performance management, connect with them, and learn from them. With the easiness of access to information recently, we can connect with anyone in the world and learn from them. For example by using Linkedin, simply we can search based on their position/experience, connect with them, DM them ask for a catch up to have a discussion and learn from them. By doing so, we will have abundant resources to learn from and connect with. 2. Vice versa, we can also be a mentor from junior colleagues. There will be always a person like us who also looking to learn from expert, and we can be a mentor from them. By doing so, we will also push ourselves to learn something new to be shared with them.
