I totally agree with the fact that the interview process should be transparent and not over extracting because I have read many job descriptions asking for skills that are not even required for a particular job. In fact sometimes the hiring process has some loopholes and some extra clamities which hurt the sentiments of the honest applying candidates.

In my opinion.. Bias Awareness in Hiring: Train hiring managers and committees on unconscious bias. Consider implementing blind recruitment practices where feasible to focus on skills and qualifications. It’s unfortunate that many are overlooked simply because of these biases. Especially givin how diverse the world is becoming.

My two cents worth only…. Any amount of training or programming is virtually useless unless your team sees you modelling the behaviours you want them to adopt and enhance. You and your team are greater than the sum total, and what you bring and invest in your team can achieve amazing things. Don’t stifle the next leaders by managing upwards, it is a ladder to nowhere. If you want your team to be the best then develop and draw upwards.

In our team, we regularly communicate with aim to discuss team and also individual challenges, contributions, to share feedback, and also to encourage each person to be honest and also to be encouraged to express themselves and share. Sometimes, in order to make more inclusive meetings, we combine strict business related talks with some personal storytelling, and at least once in quarter we tend to organize diverse teambuilding activities in different forms...
