What is the best way to prepare for maintenance work?

We have to update all the technical bulletins about the machines. Past maintenance history also needs to be reviewed. In addition, there is a need to develop a safe stock of stand-alone parts with a standard parts list.

To maintain quality technicians , in my industry is accountability, the next would be support , communication, recognition, followed by cost savings , departmental / company expectations and goals. Good communication starts from fellow maintenance teams to users. As well as the accuracy of the data as a basis for analysis and will be used as a benchmark for records of work that has been carried out. In my experience, whenever I complete a job, the final step is to allow the user to operate the equipment (whenever possible). That way, I am allowing them to buy-off on the equipment and accept that it is functioning properly. This also allows me to verify that they are operating the equipment correctly and in some cases, expose a problem that I may have overlooked.
