Then schedule a meeting to understand supplier concerns, find common ground, and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions keeping win win positionin mind. Document agreements or MOM to ensure clarity and consider involving a mediator if necessary. Provide technical support to supplier team if required and maintaining positive and fair relationships is key for long-term success.

Proper communication of the requirement to the supplier will reduce most of the conflicts and misunderstandings. Conflicts are subjective in nature viz, Technical conflict, Managerial conflicts and Financial conflicts etc.. Organization should plan a strategy to mitigate each type of conflicts like for any technical conflicts - by defining AOI, Product requirement & technical specifications etc. Managerial conflicts - by organizing Hoshin Kanri and supplier meets and finally Financial conflicts - by involving of top management to resolve it.
