1. Start with the web framework that is hand zone to you and has a decent community to address any issues u'll be facing example Node.js, Nestjs, Laravel etc. 2. Use SOLID principles and best coding practices. 3. Proper error and exception handling should be used. 4. Use latest packages/dependencies and update them time to time to avoid security issues. 5. Use load balancers to manage traffic 6. Use proper CI/CD, run tests and use monitoring services to proactively resolve any issue of it occurs

Of course without proper Ddos protection there is the danger of overcharge without getting real value. Another huge benefit from a managed web service is that there is no need to maintain or monitoring the environment as this handled by the provider still the alerts about any outage at the time of writing received with delay and after the issue resolved most of the time. All the above including spring boot actuator can give useful insights As I mentioned in the load balancing section the issue comes from the time you will receive the notification for an outage. Mitigation of issues requires notification in advance so as to react on time and not after the fact apologising. In my opinion a mobile beacon app with real time push notifications about when the app cannot be reached within 60 seconds is something more useful than any of the advanced tools mentioned above If we think of it as a simple http call that continually sends push notification when the app is crashing

Although fanatically support visio for all my UML diagrams, classes, sequence diagrams, communication diagrams, use cases or even network topology of servers I found lucidchart service really useful with extensive support for almost all devices including a really powerful web version.
