Containers generally don't create additional problems... Here's some of the unique problems I've seen using containers: 1. Container system version. If your containers were designed for version A and your devs install the latest version B then you can find yourself in a DevOps crisis. This happens _often_. 2. Your containerized environment relies on cutting edge HW. The primary example is NVidia drivers. 3. You are using containers to keep deprecated systems working. The internet resources regularly disappear and creating a company mirror is usually more work than it's worth. 4. Devs using different OSes. If there is a problem at the container hooks to the base OS then that's going to be a massive time suck.
