It all has to start with a vision as to how you as leader see the culture in the organization, strategy is how you foster a culture that leads to attainment of the vision. I have found that starting with sharing the vision and then identifying each and every associates role and purpose within the organization works best. This needs to be followed by each associate setting SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timed) goals as to how they will be accountable for and contributing to the vision. The last step is to focus on what matters most, not wasting time on mundane tasks. This can be achieved by proper, detailed weekly planning and reflection of achievements. It is important to recognize and share rewards along the way.
