Remember to consider "drift" and change after you go to production. Measure results often and retrain on real data. Consider using synthetic data (or some other contributor's data) for evaluating what-if scenarios, that could effect the inputs. For instance, if some data becomes no longer available, or new data sources are added, or the data coming in, say purchase data, just changes suddenly because of a macro event.
