Only through the measurement of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact do organizations (profit and non-profit) become capable of guaranteeing the continuity of their business and generating double materiality (what you do impacts your context and the effect it comes back to you as an impact inside you). If you demonstrate that you have mastered this very new, complex concept and that you use it by creating materiality where no one else has managed before: social, environmental and governance impact of your activities... you have a truly sustainable organization.

In July 2024 the new European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – CSRD (EU 2022/2464) comes into force. The Commission adopted the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) for use by all companies subject to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
