A perfect example I’ve seen of this is Rapid Improvement Excersies. It gives the FM teams a chance to evaluate what they do in a daily basis and figure out a way to simplify and enhance what they do to get to the end result better and faster. From there, standard of works can be created and metrics formulated. I’ve found this to be the best way because it allows the FM team to function being measured with standards they helped implement.
