What are the best online resources for continuing education in motivational speaking?

Personally, I conduct an Online Maxwell Speakers Club which is a year long course held on zoom to develop the speaking skills and practice the speeches in a safe environment where LIVE Feedback is given. We learn 26 lessons during this 12 month period and a certificate is given to the students after their Final Showcase Speech is given to a virtual audience.

A slightly different take here would be to actually create an online course that covers some of the topics you are exploring as a motivational speaker. The reason for this is that it forces you to create the structure, process and content creation, in detail, that would be a well formatted approach to communicating your message. This does not necessarily have to be published - but you may find a new niche of opportunity and engagement for people.

I do most everything online now. All of my books are online, which reduces the space needed to house them. I also Zoom all of my meetings.

AI just helps us in getting near to our search it cant get us knowledge. it is just a way to our goal in short time. getting touched by words from someone lecture in a hall or by video link gets you something any written word can't

Being a part of the community is easy but ensuring that you are able to get your learnings is what I have learnt along the way. My pointers: - Be a part of the events where speakers help each other and contribute from your end too - Building your community and network is the KEY but that happens by taking out time to individually connect with other members and explore possible areas of collaboration or just get to know each other. This is how a) you build deeper connect b) opportunities in short/ long term appear - Be willing to help each other

Its better to talk with a community counsellor online to get guided for a better outcome of one's taste of learning because social media mostly share the well known ideas.

I love reading books and it's always healthy to keep a mix of the books with you. Sharing what has helped me: - that one constant book where you can open any page again and read it and get insights. For me it is 'The one thing'. - some topic driven books depending on your interest - some biographies where you drive your inspiration from - fiction in between to just chill and take a break :)

Audio books are a great way to learn while on the go while commuting or while waiting. Like a podcast, there are many great audio book versions of great authors.

Although I'm not particularly fond of reading, I am a huge fan of audiobooks. Thank goodness for Amazon and Alexa! Within seconds, I can dive into a book of my choosing and become completely engrossed. In fact, I rely on various mediums like books, podcasts, and videos to hear different perspectives and find inspiration. I fully understand that my way of doing things or thinking isn't the sole approach, so I remain open to learning and improving my own methods.

I was never able to dedicate time to podcast but what has helped me is to listen to it while workout or walks. This way I consume the content while doing an activity.

For those of us who are retired or low income it is really valuable to listen to YouTube and do searches. I have found so much good information on YouTube and it keeps me alert, allowing me to find beautiful ways to communicate and share topics in all the groups that I stay involved in.

This is so true, especially as you age and your eyesight is not as good as it used to be. I am not able to read, but I still love listening to videos and different resources available.

Using such tools to bring in efficiency and expand our scope, is one of the best things that has happened with AI. However it is important to be original and not deviate from your style, tone of voice and authentic self.

This is very profound. I use online tools to acquire most of my new skills. "Internet is an endless ocean of knowledge". The more you look, the more you see. The more you see, the more you know. These tools are numerous based on your industry. It's best to make internet your growth ally.

The best resource in my opinion to continue your education in motivational speaking is yourself. I firmly believe that you should compete with none but your own self. This will enable you to create memories and stories that you can tell others. This will not only help you to identify your own short-comings but to rectify them whenever needed.

Something I have found helpful is to identify a few key voices and then listen to a myriad of podcasts, watch videos and read books from these key leaders - both their own and when they are interviewed elsewhere. This allows me to go deeper into understanding what makes them unique in their message. Each leader will have a main vein of what they are communicating, albeit in different language on different days, but still a core message they are trying to get out to the world. You can then identify how each of these leaders differ, even if slightly, from others in the same area is key.
