What are the best AI tools for your digital learning projects?

Adaptive AI is a low hanging fruit for any individual/corporation. Not only we are in times where learning is accessible but rather it is tailor made to our requirements in real time. So anyone not using this is actually putting themselves up for redundancy. People and organisations need to invest in this no questions asked …!!

In corporate learning, you'll see Sana Labs, RealizeIt and Area9. And in consumer learning, Khan Academy, DuoLingo (most of the language learning apps). Adaptive learning uses algorithms and deep learning, and some providers are adding generative AI to serve as a personal tutor with whom learners can converse, like Khanmigo from Khan Academy.

I am finding it challenging to identify an AI solution to create and monitor evaluation for post e-learning training programs. Other than these three recommendations, anyone have any other I can check out?

These recommendations are good. I can also add the Respondus tool which offer several services for assessments. Gradescope is Turnitin and it is also widely used in the higher education

Fantastic tool. I have use also Padlet and Miro, which are very interactive tools. If you would like to see more group work and collaboration, they just the right tools for you and your students.

I have personally used Kahoot with some of undergrad STEM activities. It was very productive and all students felt engaging. I realized that the content does matter but the engagement was the big victory for my students

All of the above examples are great applications of AI in learning. Couple considerations I would add. First, the maturity in each of these areas varies significantly by product. Some have been around the block while others are just getting in the game. Don’t assume that just because a product claims it can do it, it does it well. Second, the possibilities of where AI can enhance learning is only limited by your imagination. We are only scratching the surface on what’s possible. Now is a fantastic time to brainstorm what you want to be able to do and seek out who is doing it rather than waiting for a trend to gain momentum.

Adding to Christopher Lind's advice, an article like this would be more useful with ways to help you determine how mature a tool is, how sophisticated their use of AI is, and how well the provider is addressing the risks of AI. For example, Generative AI is a type of deep learning, which is a type of machine learning, which is a type of AI. A personalized tutor that can converse with you, from a provider who carefully conducts and documents bias audits, is far more sophisticated than an algorithm and recommends content you might also like, and more trustworthy than AI from a provider who does not publish a thorough ethics and standards statement.
