Moreover, you need to have knowledge of specific AI and IS concepts and techniques, such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, data mining, business intelligence, and systems analysis and design.

A strategic blend of technical and "soft" abilities. On the tech front, it's about mastering languages like Python and R to build robust models yet staying handy with the latest frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. One needs mathematical rigour - calculus, linear algebra - to grok algorithms. Working out those big data muscles with Spark and Hadoop enables managing complex datasets. And regular cloud workouts on AWS, GCP and Azure build deployment strength. Collaboration is also crucial, as the best ideas emerge synergistically. There's no one-size-fits-all skillset - find the combination that suits your strengths and interests. But never stop learning, and help lift others as you climb.

SURVIVAL SKILLS As technical skills, may I add Coding knowledge, Big Data and Infrastructure? Without hesitation: - Date manipulation (take notes ??), - Indexing ???, - Structured and Unstructured Data ?????, - Distributed Resilient Systems management, - HadOOp (HDFS), YARN , MapReduce, - Big(O) notation, - Security and Authentication Protocols, - Process Streaming, - Serverless / Cloud Computing, - Enterprise Architecture, - OLAP and OLTP (Online Analytical/Transaction Processing), - ETL/ELT pipelines( Extract- Transform-Load), and of course, Data Lake and Data Warehousing. Those are essential ''survival skills'' to hone to get the job done efficiently.
