This is something we focus on in our company: blending the team with cross training, spending time together solving problems and having downstream teams involved early to avoid rehashing decisions. This interaction helps us understand the needs of the other stakeholders in the project team and over time we get better at doing parts of each other’s jobs - resulting in a more resilient workflow. Ultimately, the goal is to get through the design process efficiently with less backtracking and to preserve work done in the early stages all the way through to production.

En mi experiencia la clave fundamental para hacer que los equipos multidisciplinarios funcionen bien -Dise?adores e Ingenieros en este caso-, es que tengan objetivos comunes y claros. Como decía un amigo: "Hay cosas que por obvias, no se dicen y por no dichas se olvidan". ?Qué puede ser un objetivo común más claro que "satisfacer la necesidad de un cliente"? Obviamente, para esto resulta fundamental tener claro cuál es el perfil del cliente y su perfil de necesidades. En mi experiencia trabajando con Dise?adores, este es un profesional formado para estudiar y descubrir estos perfiles, para que luego en conjunto con los Ingenieros surjan y se construyan las posibles soluciones. En resumen: El cliente como objetivo común.
