When working under time constraints, being ludic is necessary, in addition to using the auxiliary grids or templates you have previously created. Everything depends on the style you are aiming for. There should always be alignment with the project brief and the client's final needs, but this won't result in a truly exceptional design, for sure! If your reputation matters, I wouldn't recommend it. It's better to focus on producing high-quality work!

I ditch the idea of perfection - aiming for really good is more realistic. I break the project into smaller tasks, focusing on nailing the essentials first. I keep quick chats going with my team or clients to make sure we’re all on the same page.

The following things I personally follow: 1. Keep track of all the trends and updates. Why? Normally a graphic requirement is urgent when their is trend going on that the client wants to keep up with. Keeping track will help alot to visualise a design needed for that specific requirement. 2. Make your own personalised collection of various design inspiration on pinterest or any other platform you like. Make sure to visit those once a day. You eyes will regularly be connected to alot of good designs so in urgency, your brain automatically creates an image of the design. You will know what to do! 3. Bring together all the elements of the artwork to one frame and play with it. Sometimes radomness looks better that steriotypical designs.
