Having a scheduled calendar and organizing tasks thoroughly with a proper CMMS program helps with the matrix. Providing proper communication and visual of the schedule to the production team helps solidify a thorough program. One main tasks I have always done is eliminating single point of failure components and prioritizing single point of failure equipment that can halt the whole production line. Though there will always be emergency service needed on equipment having a complete solidified inventory and knowing failure points help derive from production slow downs.

Working previously in a very fast paced manufacturing environment helped me create a tactic to address these issues. Having a focus team that specializes in components of equipments helps also. Which then helps cross training and strengthens the teams approach to issues. Having a separated group that specializes in PMs helps prevent future breakdowns while predict possible issues.

In my experience, I have team sent out to do the preventive maintenance part and another team to do unexpected issues such as breakdowns and flat tires jobs. As soon as we've picked up all the breakdowns, that team also goes on preventive maintenance jobs. Most important thing is the lubrication of essential moving parts.

One thing I do now is if a technician is scheduled to do PMs or corrective work they are taken out of the loop for responding to breakdown calls. Once they complete their scheduled tasks they are back in the mix of responding to calls.

En principio se debería saber en qué es lo que está fallando, si es tema de Planificación, delegación,mano de obra o control de la misma. Según mí experiencia en mantenimiento de equipos continuos. Paradas de larga duración: primero tener un buen Projec de programación para los preventivos anuales, en este tienen que estar incluidos todos los involucrados, e incluso las empresas sub contratadas. Emergencias: para ello es tener un equipo idóneo en todas las área lo ideal es que el personal conozca el funcionamiento de los equipos y el conocimiento de mantenimiento necesario, luego de esto hacerlos parte del equipo, con motivación y hacerles saber lo importante que son para dicho funcionamiento, gracias por dejarme participar saludos.
