Team leader of a FM project has to maintain a delicate balance between the aspirations and requirements of various stakeholders such as the owners, customers and FM team. The owner would want to run the facility at minimum cost, while the customers would be aiming for a very high standard of facility management. This requires detailed planning, analysis and evaluation of the various systems which form part of the facility. The technical team has to be well trained and experienced in minimizing the maintenance issues, energy consumption and at the same time maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and hygiene. Genuine customer concerns have to be addressed asap and feedback given as well. Regular reports to owner are essential.
