It is inevitable. That is why it is important to work on a mvp and have smaller milestones. It helps you do show and tell and along side keep setting the timelines etc. This helps you accommodate changes without pressure of timelines. Make stakeholders part of the process, so that they can help you navigate also. This may increase your time to market but would achieve the necessary in this ever changing market and dynamics therewith.

We live in VUCA world - a world full of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. For example WE dint knew when CORONA would hit us or ever we all will WFH for years. Scope change will happen and better to happen on time then late. It should be analysed, studied, acted as per situation and case. How will it impact system, stakeholder, team, and most important impact on organization and customer. Accordingly act upon change.
