De nos jours, la mesure des intérêts ou des bénéfices reposent sur les trois catégories suivantes: 1- l' Environnement 2- le Sociale 3- les Finances De ce fait, les contrats ayant pour but premier de vendre biens et services doivent allier croissance économique et préservation de l'environnement, de la santé et du bien-être des salariés/populations conformément aux législations en vigueurs nationales et internationales fixées par les gouvernements. Seulement, dans cette approche tripartite entre entreprise, client et environnement, l'aspect sociétale financier se heurte à la demande des clients (des acteurs qui mènent la danse d'un pas décalé à celui de l'état n'aidant pas toujours les entreprises à intégrer le développement durable)!

Pour que les gouvernements fixent des objectifs SMART (Spécifique, Mesurables, Atteignables Réaliste et Temporel); Des journées de Benchemarking positif entre entreprises minières et associations pourraient voir le jour de sorte à trouver un consensus au c?ur de l'environnement et du social, compte tenu de la demande du marché et de la législation. Ainsi l'état pourrait mieux accompagner les entreprises à la sensibilisations de salariés et des clients aux impacts sociaux environnementaux. (par exemple, les entreprises minières/énergétiques exerceraient en laissant les autochtones et l'environnement être les précurseurs de leurs choix, et les premiers bénéficiaires...)

L'ISO 14001 dans son Chapitre III donne une méthode efficace d'étude d'impact environnemental : l'ACV ( Analyse de Cycle de Vie). Une bonne ACV nous permet de mieux appréhender les scenarii. Une fois les scénarios établis avec toutes les parties intéressées mis en place; appliquer l'ERC (Eviter, Réduire, Compenser) une méthode élaborée par l'INRS (Institue Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique) dans son guide d'élaboration du DUERP (Document Unique d'Evaluation de Risque Professionnel) mais qui est tout aussi efficace pour l'environnement. Avec bien s?r la compensation en dernier et ultime recours pour l'environnement car le but est de préserver.
