This is an important topic . Growth, rapid growth takes cash and strong systems and repeatable processes. As you begin to scale quickly, ensure you have a strong quality system and measure what matters. Growth will expose weaknesses that will need to be improved. I often hear… sales cures all sins.. but not so fast. What if what you deliver does not match your brand promise. If so scaling quickly will cause long term damage and broken trust. Para as demais áreas e partes do produto, defina investimentos e prioridade a medida que se tornem críticos para a continuidade da expans?o da empresa.

Maintaining quality during rapid expansion requires a clear focus on SLAs and KPIs, and understanding at what point you're comfortable with deviations from your baseline. From my experience, growth inevitably comes with challenges, but it’s important to monitor these metrics and determine what level of decline in quality your organization can tolerate without sacrificing its long-term goals. Growth drivers need to be identified so that you can adjust resources and focus accordingly. Quality can be reflected in both lagging indicators like customer satisfaction and leading ones such as early performance metrics—both are critical to managing expansion.

Why is rapid expansion characterized by the word "chaos." If you are in chaos during expansion, then you have the wrong people responsible for the expansion. In all probability, they are doing it without a plan. The most common mistake most make in expansion is the assumption of homoskedasticity. The belief that the variance doesn't change when I change the process settings. When I am increasing a process speed that is normally a "knob" variable. I turn a knob to increase a conveyors speed, for example. Knob variables most frequently affect process means. People assume that when they turn the knob the variance shifts with the mean i.e. homoskedasticity. There is also heteroskedasticity. That means the variance changes. Measure it.
