Maintenance procedures and practices continue to change and staying abreast with the latest technologies is key to a high functioning maintenance department. Having staff wary and non accepting of change is commonplace. Have the staff involved in the new procedures from their infancy, let them determine how to implement and set the timeline for implementation. Share the benefits of the change and if possible exemplify with real life examples.
