How have experiential learning programs successfully engaged students?

We aren’t trying to win at Jeopardy, and spit out the right answers. . . Life is about problem-solving!! We must learn how humans think, how interactions can change end results, and how egos can get in the way of good decisions. Humans make mistakes, Humans have experience… ai can predict probability but knowing our audience is key to growing successfully. We must have experience, case studies, and get out in the real world where humans often mess up the facts!!

There are multiple benefits for bringing experiential learning into the classroom. Having recently run a number of online Teamwork.Inc business simulations with 6 schools in Scotland, the following observations were made. - There was room for creativity in a safe space to encourage individual ideas and innovations to succeed as a team. - Students learn from mistakes and work together to make improvements based on vital periods of reflection between levels of simulation gameplay. - Put theory of running a business and business functions into practice. - Prepares students for future experiences and adult life. - Increase student confidence, ambition, self-belief, communication skills, problem-solving abilities.

In an AI-powered world, real-world experience and application is the ONLY thing keeping humans relevant. If AI can do something perfectly and for free (like fact-based recall), we must teach our students differently... not rely on memorizing facts and knowledge. Have students create their OWN internship. What if students had the mindsets and skills to create their own experiential learning programs with community stakeholders? In my experience, students became more motivated when they saw the relevance of their studies through practical applications. Experimental Learning: the way forward for today's generation. "Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember; involve me and I will understand" is an old saying that fits in today's AI world. Everything going virtual and stimuli based, it's important for the younger generation to experience what's in there text books. Experiential learning help the learner to fall in love with the subject. It develops deeper understanding for learner. It fulfills the thirst of the young minds and allow them to experiment, fail and learn. Anything learnt through Experiential learning helps the learner to remember for a longer span. All in all, it's one of the best ways to make today's learner learn through real life situations.
