How does your brain switch between logical and creative thinking?

Logical thinking primarily engages the left hemisphere, particularly areas such as the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for analytical reasoning, planning, and problem-solving. In contrast, creative thinking is associated with the right hemisphere, involving regions like the default mode network (DMN), which is active during imagination and daydreaming. If I need to be more creative, I have to go for a walk. The whole, “move the body to still the mind” absolutely resonates. On the other hand if we are too much worried about what ways to use and how will we reach our expected outcomes we will be stressed. The best we can do is be involved but don't entangle by thinking of the results because something spectacular may happen.
