How do you update your teaching strategies for today's students?

knowing the students in terms of the diversity based on demography, family back ground, place of living, educational institutional background, education system etc. The best way to know many things start with closely read the applications of the students and then during the admission time an interaction withe parents is essential. This two actions facilitate the teacher to know about the student as fresh and first hand information.

It's important to continuously refine our teaching strategies to meet the unique demands of today's students. OK the technology is only a means to reach out students. It is not that the use of technology is the prime source of learning. If that is the case why we need class rooms buildings campus and infrastructure. I don't think technology can replace teacher from the class. Machine learning is supplementary not to be consider as substitute. Use of technology by students the challenge is how to make the tools are used by students as responsible and safe. Make it responsible and safe it is the concern of the teachers, parents, peer groups and the locality where the students live

Incorporate active learning is essential and otherwise the learning is incomplete. Active learning is students centric. Active learning start from the subject its concepts. The teacher can facilitate the learner to take the concept of the subject to field such as - learning about man environment connection can start from class room to the house, street, parks, neighbourhood, city etc.

Differential Teaching Learning practice such as performance based or interest bases, social and cultural difference based etc is good but it should not build an image the students that it is in a way of Segregation. May be it is essential to note that how a teacher or the system identify a group of students and what criteria used for the division is very important because some time some teachers with vested interest and may be partial with some groups of students. It can be a division based on language, religion, region and parental income etc.

Social and emotional learning is some different as usually talk about socio-economic. Of course emotional is more psychological and individualistic. It is very much essential for a teacher to know and understand the students in the class. Some time it may be difficulty to remember the names of the each and every student in a class, of course if it is around 20 it is ok but incase there may be 40 and more. Any way psychological state of the learning is more into emotional. In terms of Social it needs a clear meaning of it, is it the social status, social character, social values of the students. It is important since the emotional aspect is associate with the above. In my opinion the social and emotional state of the Teachers needs care
