Antes de comenzar a elaborar un currículum, es crucial investigar a fondo lo que la industria busca en cuanto a funciones, habilidades blandas y duras, así como las palabras clave que usan para llegar al cargo que estoy buscando. Con esta información puedo identificar mis fortalezas y debilidades, así como destacar temas que a la industria puede ser de bastante utilidad. Después de ello debo estudiar la empresa y el puesto al que quiero aplicar. Esto te permitirá entender sus valores, metas y desafíos, y adaptar tu currículum para que se alinee perfectamente con lo que están buscando. Estudia nuevos proyectos o desafíos que tengan e incluye información que demuestre cómo puedes agregar valor a su equipo y ayudarles a alcanzar sus metas.

Al preparar tu currículum, es importante enfocarte en resaltar tus resultados e impacto. Un logro siempre debe mostrar el impacto que tuvo a la organización. Redactado de esta forma el empleador puede ver el valor que tienes y una razón concluyente del por qué deberías ser contratado. Te recomiendo que incluyas métricas, números y ejemplos concretos que demuestren el impacto que has generado a la empresa. Usa verbos de acción y palabras clave relevantes para el rol y la industria a la que te estás postulando. Esto mostrará al reclutador tu experiencia específica y tu capacidad probada para entregar resultados tangibles

En tu currículum, es crucial que resaltes tus capacidades en áreas como el manejo de diferentes plataformas, metodologías,etc, Dedica una sección específica a enumerar tus habilidades relevantes, y luego usa las secciones de experiencia laboral y educación para proporcionar evidencia concreta de cómo has aplicado esas habilidades en diferentes contextos y escenarios. Todo lo que escribes en tu currículum debe ser coherente. Así que no incluyas habilidades que no conoces o manejas. Ejemplo si dices que tienes habilidades de liderazgo, en alguna parta debe aparecer que tu hiciste roles de liderazgo, de lo contrario es como si mintiera en tu CV. Si conoces una metodología, evidencia como la aprendiste y cómo la aplicaste.

Por eso se vuelve tan importante el manejo de la marca profesional en las redes sociales. Es una manera fácil de destacar de otros profesionales y de abrir nuevas oportunidades. Trabaja en entregar valor, compartir conocimiento, al poco tiempo verás que no solamente tendrás una comunidad que te sigue, si no también que ya tienes una credibilidad y confianza en un sector. Cuando hay confianza las oportunidades profesionales se abren más rápidamente.

I'd always say the simpler the better. Regardless of the industry what helps to get through candidates' resumes is clarity and its readiness. Don't go crazy with unusual fonts, iconographic or scattered ways of illustrating your skills. Also, make sure your resume format will be simple so CV parsers used by most Applicant Tracking systems (ATS) nowadays will be able to transfer your experience and skills well to their database.

Si hemos investigado el mercado correctamente también entenderemos como debe ser el formato de tu currículum. No deberías enfocarte solamente en el estilo. Enfócate en que cada campo que diligencias responde a una necesidad que tiene el sector. Embellecer tu CV con una propuesta de valor irresistible, pero engalana tu perfil profesional que tienes en tus redes sociales con todo el potencial que puedes dar a una organización. Así podrás mostrar mucho mejor todo lo que vales

El currículum no es un documento estático por que constantemente estamos haciendo nuevas cosas, teniendo nuevos aprendizajes, experiencias, etc. Así que el currículum debe convertirse en una herramienta dinámica que refleje tu propuesta de valor, tus habilidades, logros y objetivos más recientes. Cada vez que me voy a postular a una vacante es importante revisarla vs mi cv y hacer ajustes para asegurar que mi hoja de vida se adapte perfectamente a los requisitos y expectativas del empleador. También es bueno pedir feedback, estar abierto a recibir comentarios, realizar análisis y mantenerte al tanto de las mejores prácticas en la elaboración de currículums. Esto te ayudará a aumentar tus posibilidades de ser notado y contratado.
