How do you simplify complex database structures for non-technical stakeholders?

Instead of this, use the same business terminology and prepare a story to make them understand the same datastructure. Remove all the technical terms, complex workflows and UML diagrams. Always use very simple diagrams with simple terminologies. This will make your presentation and life simple.

Use Clear and Simple Language by avoiding technical terms and describing database concepts using simple terms. For example, compare a table to a spreadsheet. Create visual representations of the database structure and use flowcharts to show how data flows through the system. Use analogies that relate to familiar concepts.
