For code hosting I mostly use codesandbox, it has almost every flavour of language needed on the web development, I also use CodePen for shorter code or snippets

I've been using several of these tools in the past. They have their own traits, for example, Glitch has full support to Node.js for backend applications; CodePen it's more like to showcase developers work. The one I use the most is Stackblitz, it has Github integration for saving and syncing projects, supports installing NPM packages, offers features like hot reload, and offers a more IDE-like experience.

Generally, on platforms like Stack Overflow, if I want to showcase my code and share it in its working state, I use CodePen and JSFiddle. However, in such sharing scenarios, it is essential to keep special keys and API entries confidential. This, of course, can significantly hinder the demonstration of a fully functional code, and as a result, it may not fully serve its purpose. But if you want to display your code as a snippet, it is certainly a quick and efficient solution.

Managing code using GitHub repositories is the convenient way of maintains the code base and sharing the code with others. There are public and private repositories via which code can be managed and security is maintained. GitHub also provides features for CI/CD to automatically build your code and deploy in targeted environment.

For code sharing I use CodeSandbox and Slackblitz as they are free and have almost the same usability as the local code editor

I'm a technical blog writer and I find Stackblitz really useful for embedding my code snippets inside my posts. It has, on the pay version, a way to set private/public your code snippets, for showing them on the right time, you can also share a custom URL with a colleague.

Certainly, more professional sharing tools like platforms such as CodeSandbox can be more beneficial both in terms of integration with other systems and providing additional advantages for pair coding. Through URL sharing, you can securely open your code to only the people you want and even use custom URL structures. High-level packages offer many more features besides this. Although they may require a higher budget, you can also access extensions and live sessions with these packages.

To share executable code snippets I use CodePen, my peers can fork it and make a version of code for themselves, it's really great as it allows credit to the original author of code

Personally, although I don't prefer it, I come across Gist and Pastebin links in some code snippets. Of course, since Gist's main platform is Github, it is popular, while Pastebin is inaccessible in my country due to some restrictions. I remember this was mainly because it was being used for sharing malicious code. It's clear that syntax and similar definitions have always been problematic. However, this doesn't mean these tools are useless. Even though they may not be as powerful as others, they can be used for quick and simple sharing.

Using live share options provided in visual studio code is one of the best options to share code and edit in a team environment.

Definitely a must. We use Atlassian products for most of our development and, honestly, I believe the team has fun while doing code review. We use Bitbucket and code review is everywhere, even in real time while developing something or troubleshooting. I'd say, from the whole process, this could be one of the most beautiful tasks. I have never used any tools for code review yet, but I am looking forward to it. The way I code review is check to the peer Dev's branch and run it locally if it's good i.e accurate, fewer bugs possibility, less complex and more readable I approve the code otherwise I request changes adding my comments

I used Review Board and Git for code review. I think Git is more integrated with code, making it easier to resolve and commit, whereas with Review Board, you need to switch back and forth between version control and Review Board.

Although I may not be very familiar with these tools, I believe that Codacy has come a long way in automating local code inspection processes. The biggest advantage of this tool is its integration with other platforms, of course, it is also an important nuance point that these tools require significant budgets and undergo a serious training process by the team. In my personal opinion, achieving serious team compatibility in other local testing phases is necessary before accessing tools like these. Documentation is a development standard and is essential in handing off code to other developers. Documenting your code helps other developers understand what is going on and what a method they are reviewing is.

My teams and I have used JSDoc way long in the past and in the present. It is an easy and well established way to document your codebase. For documenting API's, we always choose Swagger, it uses the OpenAPI Specification, a standard for RESTful API design.

Documenting a code simplifies the process to understand, extend the functionality using code for other developers. I used Storybook for code documentation, and it is easy to understand.
