He said! “ I would never have thought of that! “

The planning and layout comes before choosing materials or in conjunction with presenting materials options with my residential projects. I consider the design layout to be the ultimate priority as it relates to the project budget. For example, a path, patio or other built aspects of the design may be updated in the future when more funds become available. In that way the use of the space is less constrained by budget limitations as trees and shrubs become established. Of course this is dependent on each site's unique access for off-loading and installing materials and equipment for the replacement design components. If the budget won't allow for a desired flagstone covered slab substituting gravel or DG might meet an interim need.
